I provide a scientific and medical editing service for researchers who are submitting their work to English-language science and medical journals and whose first language is not English. I am also able to provide this service to postgraduate students submitting Masters and Doctoral dissertations. My particular specialities are the fields of Genetics and Genomics, Medicinal and Biomolecular Chemistry, and Biochemistry and Cell Biology. I am a native English speaker with twelve years of editing experience, as well as over nine years of laboratory experience. I am skilled in the analysis of gene expression using next-generation sequencing and microarrays, and have experience of many techniques related to the analysis of gene expression patterns and genome organization. These include: RNA and DNA FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization); chromosome painting; RNA TRAP (tagging and recovery of associated proteins); qRT-PCR. With reference to my publication history, please note that my maiden name is Catherine Moir.
